Whenever January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is set aside. This is according to Canon Law.

St. Theresa Church and St. Andrew Church were overflowing with joy (and people) as we came together as a Parish Community to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

The Women’s Club as well as a few others enjoyed a wonderful trip to the La Salette Shrine this past Sunday.

We are pleased to share the Christmas Mass schedule for Saint Matthew the Evangelist Parish you. Of note, this year, the 4th Sunday of Advent and the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord fall on consecutive days.

On December 9th we gathered together at St. Theresa Church for a Christmas Sing-A-Long led by our talented cantors, Parish Choir, Children’s Choir and our Music Director, Laura Rosa. 

What a wonderful day was had  at the St. Matthew Christmas Fair! It was heartwarming to catch up with old friends and meet new ones as well!
