Community Sundays are a wonderful opportunity for us as a Parish Community to come together after Mass to socialize and enjoy one another’s company while having a sweet treat and a nice hot cup of coffee.
Since your registration at this time requires no commitment to a specific day and time next fall and beyond, we ask that you sign up now in order for us to better serve your family.

On this Holy Day of Obligation, Christ ascended into heaven. He is the Lord and constantly interceded for us before the Father. He sends us his Spirit and He gives us the hope of one day reaching the place he has prepared for us.
During Holy Week, St. Matthew held Mass on Holy Thursday, services on Good Friday, and Morning Prayer on Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the Sacred Triduum. We joined together bathed in candlelight during the Easter Vigil. As the procession enters the Church it stops, and the tapers held by the people are lit. Beautiful! The Easter Joy continued this morning at our 8:00 and 11:00 AM Mass at St. Andrew
Teen Ministries led all in prayer as they presented the Living Stations last night at St. Theresa Church. Afterward, the teens assisted with serving the meatless meal for all to enjoy. Join us NEXT FRIDAY at St. Andrew Church at 6:00 PM as we pray the Stations of the Cross followed by a meatless meal of soup and more in Fr. Wilson Hall.
Daily Mass at Saint Matthew Parish will be cancelled on Tuesday. The Parish Office will also be CLOSED and will reopen at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 14th. Faith Formation Come & See Gatherings have been cancelled for Tuesday due to the impending snow. Stay safe!
On Friday evenings during Lent (except Good Friday) the Parish will be hosting a simple, meatless “Soup Supper” consisting of a variety of soups, bread and butter, a beverage and more.

Whenever January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is set aside. This is according to Canon Law.
St. Theresa Church and St. Andrew Church were overflowing with joy (and people) as we came together as a Parish Community to celebrate the birth of our Savior!
